Colourful Hertfordshire Wedding Styling at voco Letchworth Hall

Charlotte and James’ wedding at voco Letchworth Hall in Hertfordshire was full of colour, florals and lovely personal details. Combining soft blues and greens with pops of yellow, pink, purple and peach, the finished look felt bright and joyful while still being beautifully elegant.

With wedding styling by Sparkle Event Styling and photography by Andrew James Photography, every part of the day tied together beautifully.

A Floral-Filled Wedding Ceremony

For the ceremony, the real statement was the incredible floral arch. Filled with greenery and an abundance of colourful flowers, it created a gorgeous focal point at the end of the aisle and a beautiful backdrop for Charlotte and James as they said their vows.

Soft blue chair covers introduced another element of their colour palette, while floral arrangements at the base of the arch helped to bring the styling into the aisle.

One of the things we always love about a statement floral installation is how versatile it can be – and after the ceremony, this one became part of the wedding breakfast styling too.

Colourful Wedding Breakfast Styling

For the reception, the floral arch was positioned behind the top table and finished with a neon Mr & Mrs sign, creating a completely different look and giving Charlotte and James a fantastic backdrop for photographs throughout their wedding breakfast.

Colour continued across the tables, with floral centrepieces featuring blues, lilacs, yellows, whites and soft pinks. Sage green napkins and natural woven charger plates added texture and helped ground the brighter florals.

We also loved the personal details incorporated into the tables. Each table had its own illustrated name, adding something fun and individual amongst the more traditional wedding styling.

The top table brought everything together with a beautiful floral arrangement running along its length, complemented by patterned fabric and candlelight.

Charlotte and James’ Hertfordshire wedding is a perfect example of how you can embrace lots of colour without the overall styling becoming overwhelming. By repeating shades and textures throughout the ceremony and wedding breakfast, everything still feels considered and cohesive.
