Katie & Emily’s Sage Green Barn Wedding at Wootton Park
Katie & Emily’s wedding at Wootton Park was a beautiful example of how clear design choices and consistent styling can elevate both an outdoor wedding ceremony and a relaxed barn wedding setting. With a soft sage green palette and rustic details throughout, their day felt cohesive, elegant, and perfectly suited to this stunning Warwickshire wedding venue.

Wootton Park offers a wonderful backdrop for couples planning a countryside celebration, with its lakeside ceremony space and barn reception areas. Katie & Emily chose to exchange their vows by the water, allowing the natural surroundings to take centre stage and keeping their wedding styling simple and considered.
For the ceremony, the focal point was a floral arch of faux white flowers and green foliage, positioned at the front to frame their vows. The aisle was lined with white lanterns filled with candles, drawing the eye towards the arch and creating a calm, symmetrical look. The end chair of each row was dressed with sage green chair drapes, side tied and finished with a simple white ribbon bow. Each was completed with a fresh, large daisy, a meaningful nod to their daughter Daisy and a personal detail that added warmth and sentiment to the overall design.
The couple used our styled hire service with a turnaround, meaning we set up and post ceremony moved items to their wedding breakfast space, allowing them to relax and enjoy their day without worrying about logistics. They had also chosen a number of their own styling pieces, including the table centre elements and signage, which we were more than happy to incorporate and set out on the day so everything worked together seamlessly.
Ahead of the wedding, Katie & Emily visited our showroom to choose their hire items and brought their own pieces along too. We laid out a full table display for them so they could see exactly how everything would look together and make any final tweaks. This gave them complete confidence that the finished result would feel balanced and true to their vision.
For the wedding breakfast, the celebration moved into the barn, where the sage green theme continued effortlessly. Round tables were styled with rattan placemats, creating warmth and texture against the neutral linen. Table numbers on sage green card with white writing tied neatly into the colour palette.
The table centres, provided by the couple and styled by us on the day, featured a rustic wooden circular base, a sage green pillar candle, a votive tealight holder, and a bud vase filled with eucalyptus. The combination was simple but effective, offering height variation, candlelight, and natural greenery without overcrowding the tables.
In a sustainable and thoughtful touch, the ceremony floral arch was later moved to sit behind the top table, becoming a focal point for the wedding breakfast and finished with a “just married” neon sign. This reuse not only made practical sense but also helped create continuity between the different parts of the day.
Katie & Emily’s decision to choose a theme and stick to it was key to the success of their styling. From the outdoor ceremony through to the barn reception, every element felt connected and intentional, resulting in a look that was calm, elegant, and full of personality.
Beautifully captured by Nicole Amy Visuals, their wedding shows how thoughtful planning, personal details, and carefully chosen hire pieces can come together to create a relaxed yet polished celebration at a Warwickshire wedding venue like Wootton Park.
