Their day was a clear example of how simple styling choices, used consistently, can shape a space without overwhelming it. Fly on the Wall Photography captured the atmosphere throughout, focusing on both the detail and the natural character of the barn.

Ceremony Styling

The ceremony took place inside the barn, with a design that felt warm and personal from the moment guests arrived.

At the front, a wooden arch backdrop was styled with orange and white draped fabric, creating a focal point for the vows while still allowing the barn’s structure to remain visible. The fabric softened the space and introduced colour in a controlled way, sitting comfortably within the rustic setting.

The signing table was styled simply, with dried flowers in vases and additional draped fabric to tie it back to the ceremony backdrop. These details helped create consistency across the space without adding unnecessary elements.

Chairs were dressed with simple white fabric tied with orange ribbon, bringing a subtle contrast that worked well against the darker tones of the barn. The colour palette continued through the bridal party, with bridesmaids wearing classic pink dresses, adding softness without competing with the rest of the styling.

The aisle itself was particularly personal. Large black and white photographs of the couple lined the walkway, alongside simple petals. This created a clear visual path while also introducing a meaningful element that guests could engage with as they took their seats.

Wedding Breakfast Styling

After the ceremony and drinks reception, guests moved through to the wedding breakfast space, where the styling continued in the same calm and considered way.

Trestle tables were used throughout, which suited the barn setting and helped create a natural flow across the room. The layout felt relaxed but structured, allowing the styling to sit comfortably within the space.

The couple chose a sweetheart top table, creating a defined focal point without requiring a large head table. This worked particularly well within the layout, keeping the space open while still giving the couple a clear place within the room.

Table styling remained simple and balanced. Dried flowers in slim vases added height and texture without overcrowding the tables. Place settings were clean and uncluttered, with a white charger plate, a wedding newspaper, and a wooden disc place name at each setting.

These elements worked together to create a look that felt consistent with the ceremony styling, carrying through the same materials, colours and textures.
