Michelle & Lee’s Elegant Rustic Wedding at The Manor House, Quorn
Some weddings stay with you long after the day has passed, and Michelle & Lee’s celebration at The Manor House in Quorn was one of those. Understated, thoughtful, and full of heart, their wedding proved that elegant wedding styling does not need to be over complicated to feel truly luxurious. Every detail was chosen with intention, creating a day that felt relaxed, romantic, and beautifully personal.
Captured perfectly by Matt Allen Photography, the atmosphere of the day was warm and joyful from the very beginning. The Manor House is a wonderful setting for a rustic wedding, with its historic charm and timeless interiors offering a naturally beautiful backdrop. Michelle & Lee embraced this, choosing styling that enhanced the venue rather than competing with it.
Their ceremony was a lesson in the power of simplicity. Chairs were dressed with simple white sashes tied in soft bows, adding a gentle touch of elegance while keeping the space light and uncluttered. The overall look was calm and refined, allowing the emotion of the moment to take centre stage. Sometimes the most beautiful ceremonies are the ones that feel effortless, and this certainly did.
As part of their styling package, Michelle & Lee also booked garden games from Sparkle Event Styling, which added a playful and relaxed element to the day. These proved a huge hit with guests, creating laughter and connection during quieter moments and making the celebration feel even more personal and welcoming. It is touches like these that turn a wedding into an experience rather than just an event.
For the wedding breakfast, the styling continued in the same elegant and rustic vein. Each table featured a simple yet striking centrepiece, carefully designed to reflect the colours and textures of Michelle’s bouquet. A trio of glass sleeves enclosed elegant tapered candles to form the focal point, surrounded by three delicate bud vases filled with eucalyptus, soft pink gypsophila, and textured thistles. The combination felt natural and romantic, with just enough structure to keep everything polished.
The table centres were further enhanced with floating candles and tealights, creating a warm glow that filled the room as the day unfolded. Candlelight has a wonderful way of softening a space, and here it added to the sense of intimacy and relaxed luxury. Wooden rustic table numbers completed the look, tying in perfectly with the character of The Manor House and reinforcing the couple’s love of natural materials and timeless styling.
What made Michelle & Lee’s wedding so special was its confidence in simplicity. Every element had room to breathe, from the ceremony styling to the table décor, allowing guests to fully enjoy the space, the company, and the atmosphere. This is elegant wedding styling at its best, refined, thoughtful, and deeply personal. It also had a lovely element of sustainability as the broken floral arch that provided a backdrop and focal point for the ceremony moved to sit behind the top table for their wedding breakfast.
At Sparkle Event Styling, we adore creating luxurious wedding styling that feels authentic to each couple. Michelle & Lee’s day is a beautiful example of how rustic wedding styling can still feel elevated and polished, especially when paired with a venue as charming as The Manor House.
For couples planning their own celebration, this wedding is proof that with the right styling choices, Leicestershire wedding styling can be both simple and unforgettable.
