Rustic Autumnal Elegance: Nadege & Brandon’s Wedding at Shottle Hall

Filled with rich autumnal tones, natural textures, and the soft glow of candlelight, Nadege & Brandon’s day captured everything we love about autumn weddings. From the moment we arrived to style their marquee reception, it was clear their vision was all about atmosphere, warmth, and effortless rustic elegance.

For the reception, the marquee at Shottle Hall offered the ideal blank canvas. Bright, airy, and full of possibility, it allowed us to layer autumnal shades and tactile elements in a way that felt immersive yet refined. The couple chose rust orange chair sashes, which instantly brought depth and warmth to the space. The colour was rich without overpowering and tied beautifully into the season.

Each place setting was thoughtfully styled with rattan placemats and neatly folded napkins topped with personalised hand calligraphy place names. The combination of natural rattan and warm autumnal tones created a sense of rustic charm that remained unmistakably elegant. It was clear that Nadege & Brandon wanted their guests to feel welcomed, cherished, and completely part of their story.

The table centres carried that same energy. We designed arrangements featuring tall floating candles surrounded by clusters of bud vases filled with dried flowers, grasses, and autumnal florals. Pampas grass, rust tones, and soft neutrals blended to create a layered, textured look that was visually engaging from every angle. With candlelight dancing between the florals, the whole marquee glowed with warmth.

Behind the top table, we created a striking focal point with our hexagonal arch, styled with dried flowers and a striking draping. It framed the couple beautifully, added height and interest to the space, and brought the palette together in the most eye catching way. This backdrop also worked effortlessly in photos, giving the couple a signature feature that felt both modern and organic.

To complete the styling, we provided a wooden welcome sign and matching table plan, both designed to complement the overall theme. These finishing touches grounded the décor and helped guide guests through the day in a cohesive and beautifully curated way.

Their semi naked cake, decorated with flowers in rich autumn colours, set the tone perfectly. It stood proudly as both a visual centrepiece and a sweet nod to the textures and tones we would carry throughout the rest of the styling.

Nadege & Brandon’s wedding was the perfect example of how thoughtful styling can transform a space into something meaningful and memorable. The textures, colours, and candlelit atmosphere worked together to create a celebration that felt warm, inviting, and completely personal to them.

We absolutely loved styling this autumnal beauty at Shottle Hall, and we are so thrilled to have played a part in bringing their vision to life. If you’re dreaming of a wedding filled with rich tones, natural textures, and rustic elegance, this one is full of inspiration.
