The Outdoor Ceremony: Lakeside Magic
One of the standout features at Wootton Park is the outdoor ceremony area, set beside a tranquil lake and framed by rolling fields. If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding venue that feels both serene and stylish, this is it.
We often style the lakeside space with one of our fabulous floral backdrops or draping on the lakeside structure, perfectly complementing the natural setting. Aisle chairs look beautiful finished with chiffon sashes or floral posies, and we love lining the path with lanterns or our real wax LED candles in hurricane vases to add a soft glow, even in daylight.
It’s a space that feels personal and peaceful and is perfect for couples who want a ceremony surrounded by nature, with all the comforts of a professionally run venue.
The Barn: Rustic with a Touch of Elegance
Wootton Park’s barn is where rustic charm meets modern function. With exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and lots of natural light, it’s a wonderful blank canvas for styling, whether you’re after laid-back countryside vibes or more elegant, romantic decor.
We’ve styled this space in a variety of ways: from relaxed greenery garlands with soft candlelight, to full faux floral centrepieces paired with gold accents and chiffon table runners. The barn is just as suited to twinkling fairy lights and boho textures as it is to classic white linens and formal glassware so your unique vision can shine through.
The outdoor space continues beyond the ceremony, with patio furniture for guests to relax, a pizza oven for that all important evening food and plenty of grass for garden games and photos.
