Real Wedding: Hannah & Stefan at The Mill, Hoveringham

Some weddings have a joy that radiates through every photo, and Hannah & Stefan’s celebration at The Mill, Hoveringham was exactly that - a summer wedding filled with laughter, warmth, and the most beautiful relaxed styling. With photographs captured by the talented Charlotte Mail Photography, every moment felt light, love-filled, and completely them.

The couple began their day with a classic church ceremony, and although we didn’t style this part, we absolutely adored the elegant simplicity of it. The church was beautifully dressed with milk churns filled with flowers, a timeless choice that worked perfectly with their natural, countryside theme. There’s something so wonderfully traditional about a church wedding: that soft hush before the music begins, the moment everyone stands as the bride walks in. It was simple, elegant, and the perfect start to what would become a truly joyful day.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Mill Hoveringham, a charming barn venue surrounded by open countryside and rustic character. It’s a space that’s both relaxed and elegant, and one we love for its versatility and light-filled atmosphere.

Guests were greeted with our welcome neon sign  beautifully styled, setting the tone for the day as they arrived for drinks in the sunshine. The energy was so happy and effortless with laughter, garden games, and plenty of candid moments that Charlotte captured beautifully.

Inside the barn, the wedding breakfast styling reflected Hannah & Stefan’s vision for something simple, stylish, and full of summer charm. The space was flooded with natural light, creating the perfect backdrop for their chosen details. We designed a table plan displayed on a modern wire frame, paired with a glowing “Welcome to our Wedding” neon sign – a contemporary touch that added personality to the rustic setting.

The long trestle tables were styled with olive green runners, delicate bud vases filled with soft florals, and knotted napkins at each place setting for a relaxed yet elegant finish. The look was minimal, clean, and perfectly suited to the natural textures of the barn. It was the kind of styling that feels effortless but is thoughtfully designed to bring everything together in harmony.

The colour palette carried through the day beautifully, with sage green bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen in navy suits, a timeless combination that worked perfectly against the soft neutral tones of the venue.

We’re so delighted to have been part of Hannah & Stefan’s day at The Mill Hoveringham, helping to bring their styling vision to life. It’s the kind of barn wedding that reminds us exactly why we do what we do – creating styling that feels like a reflection of our couples.
