Castle View Farm & Stables: A Rustic Leicestershire Venue for Stylish Celebrations

There are some venues that just stay with you, and for us, Castle View Farm & Stables in Leicestershire is one of those special places. Each time we return, we’re reminded why it has become such a favourite. There’s a sense of calm as you arrive with fields stretching into the distance, wide open skies, and the rustic charm of a working farm that has been transformed into a setting perfect for weddings.

One of the highlights of this venue is the outdoor ceremony space, a rustic courtyard that feels beautifully understated yet full of potential. The stone walls and weathered textures create the most natural backdrop, and because it starts as such a blank canvas, couples can completely make it their own. We’ve seen delicate greenery installations soften the space with elegance, bold floral arches bursting with colour, and autumnal foliage paired with lanterns and draped fabric for a warm, intimate look. Whatever the season, the courtyard is always ready to reflect your personality.

Of course, the countryside setting adds its own magic. There’s something about the way the views frame the day: rolling fields, hedgerows and ever-changing skies that become part of the décor without you even realising. We love echoing those tones within the styling: soft greens, earthy neutrals, touches of terracotta or seasonal colour. It creates a look that feels harmonious, grounded and completely at home in its surroundings.

When the celebrations move inside, the barn reception space offers warmth and character in abundance. Its wooden beams give it a rustic feel, yet it never dictates a single style. Instead, it’s a space that adapts beautifully to each couple’s vision. With layered linens, candlelight in abundance and carefully chosen lighting, the barn becomes an intimate, glowing setting for dinner and dancing. Every wedding we’ve styled here has felt completely different, which is what makes it so special.

We had the joy of styling Laura & Gary’s spring wedding at Castle View, where they chose a soft and romantic palette of blush, white and sage. Their courtyard ceremony was lined with bud vases and chiffon sashes, while mirrored signage added a contemporary twist. Inside the barn, flickering candles, flowing fabrics and layered textures created a warm but elegant reception space. You can see more of their beautiful day, and gather plenty of inspiration, over on our blog: Laura & Gary’s Spring Wedding at Castle View Farm & Stables.

When it comes to styling Castle View, the key is to let the venue’s natural charm shine through. A few thoughtful statement details can completely transform both the courtyard and the barn without overwhelming them. Lighting is always worth prioritising, particularly indoors, where fairy lights, uplighting and candles create an atmosphere that’s nothing short of magical. We also love weaving a consistent theme from the ceremony into the reception so that the entire day feels seamless and connected. And, of course, embracing the season - whether with autumnal tones, spring pastels or summer greenery - ensures the styling feels organic and rooted in its setting.

Castle View Farm & Stables truly offers the best of both worlds: a rustic backdrop full of character and the freedom for every couple to make it entirely their own. It’s a venue that never loses its charm for us, and we always leave inspired by the love stories it holds.
