Lucy & Edward’s wedding at Stretton Manor Barn was the very essence of sage elegance – beautifully understated yet brimming with personal touches and thoughtful styling. From the moment Lucy arrived in a classic car, the day had a timeless, romantic feel. The ceremony took place inside the barn, a setting full of charm with its wooden beams and countryside warmth. To complement the venue’s natural textures, we kept the styling pared back and earthy, allowing the barn to shine while weaving in layers of soft, luxurious detail.

Sage green was the standout colour for the day – a tone that’s fast becoming a favourite and one that works effortlessly against the rustic backdrop. We dressed the chairs in our sage green drapes, adding an elegant softness to the ceremony space. At the end of the aisle, our gorgeous broken pillar backdrop stood tall, delicately styled with floral touches to frame the couple’s vows. This same backdrop was later repositioned to frame the couple’s sweetheart table during the wedding breakfast – a beautiful focal point and clever way to make the most of the styling. These kinds of transformations are just one of the perks of working with us – we think about your day as a whole, not just isolated moments.

Rustic wooden signage, gold charger plates, and warm gold accents added a touch of glamour to the otherwise relaxed styling, elevating the tablescape without losing the cosy, grounded feel. Every detail was chosen to strike the perfect balance between rustic and refined, and the result was a day that felt intimate, heartfelt, and undeniably elegant.
