Megan & Will's Elegant Lakeside Wedding at Wootton Park
There is something timeless about a blue and white wedding palette, and Megan & Will's wedding at Wootton Park showed just how effective it can be. Soft powder blue details complemented the natural surroundings of the venue, creating a look that felt elegant, fresh and perfectly suited to an outdoor celebration.
As one of our favourite Warwickshire wedding venues, Wootton Park offers couples the opportunity to celebrate beside the lake before moving into the beautifully restored barn for their wedding breakfast. It's a venue that lends itself to thoughtful wedding styling, allowing the same colour palette to flow effortlessly from one part of the day to the next.
Captured beautifully by Incircles Photography, Megan & Will's wedding was a wonderful example of how simple styling choices can make a real impact.

A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony
The lakeside ceremony space at Wootton Park is already a stunning setting, so our aim is always to enhance it rather than overpower it.
Guests took their seats on the venue's white ceremony chairs, with the end chair of each row dressed in a powder blue side sash. The soft blue fabric introduced the couple's chosen colour palette immediately, while naturally drawing the eye towards the front of the ceremony.
Lining the aisle were glass and silver lanterns, each containing a warm LED candle. These added structure to the ceremony space while keeping the styling light and elegant. Against the backdrop of the lake, the glass reflected the natural light beautifully throughout the ceremony.
At the front, Megan and Will exchanged their vows beneath the lakeside’s wooden pergola, dressed with flowing white and powder blue drapes. A floral arrangement completed the design, creating a focal point that framed the ceremony perfectly while still allowing the surrounding countryside to remain part of the view.
A Wedding Breakfast Filled with Light
Following the drinks reception, guests made their way into the wedding breakfast, where the styling continued with the same calm and elegant feel.
Each Chiavari chair was finished with a powder blue chair sash, tied simply to continue the colour palette established during the ceremony. Sometimes the simplest chair styling is the most effective, particularly when repeated consistently throughout the room.
The table centres created a beautiful balance of height and softness. Floral arrangements stood atop tall glass stands, adding height without interrupting views across the room. On other tables, three floating candles were grouped together on a powder blue table runner, which had been ruched through the centre of each table. The combination of tall florals and lower candlelight created layers within the styling, giving each table plenty of interest while maintaining an elegant, uncluttered feel.
Varying the height of your table centres is one of the easiest ways to create impact in a wedding breakfast. It allows guests to enjoy different perspectives across the room while keeping each table visually connected.
Styling That Flows Throughout the Day
One of the reasons Megan & Will's wedding worked so beautifully was the consistency of the styling. Rather than introducing lots of different colours or decorative elements, they focused on a single palette and repeated it thoughtfully throughout each part of the celebration.
From the powder blue chair sashes at the lakeside ceremony to the matching details inside the barn, every element felt connected. Combined with the warmth of candlelight, elegant florals and the natural beauty of Wootton Park, the result was a wedding that felt timeless, refined and effortlessly beautiful.
For couples planning a barn wedding, an outdoor wedding ceremony or looking for wedding styling at Wootton Park, Megan & Will's celebration is a wonderful reminder that carefully chosen details are often all you need to create something truly memorable.
