Leicestershire Wedding Venues We Love Styling
Leicestershire offers a surprisingly wide variety of wedding venues, from grand country houses and orangery spaces through to woodland tipis and relaxed countryside settings. One of the reasons Sparkle Event Styling enjoys working across the county so much is that no two venues feel the same, which means styling can be shaped around the atmosphere and architecture of each space rather than following a single formula.
Whether you are planning a large country house wedding or a smaller countryside celebration, these are some of our favourite Leicestershire wedding venues to style.
The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall
The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall offers a very different atmosphere to a traditional wedding venue. The ceremony space is set within the woodland itself, creating a setting that already feels immersive before styling is introduced.
The venue works particularly well for couples who want an outdoor ceremony while still having the reassurance of indoor reception spaces. Inside, large windows throughout the reception areas maintain the connection to the trees and surrounding landscape, so even indoors the countryside remains part of the experience.
With plenty of onsite accommodation available, the venue naturally lends itself to relaxed, full weekend celebrations.
Prestwold Hall
Prestwold Hall is one of the most recognisable country house wedding venues in Leicestershire. The interiors are detailed and elegant, while the grounds are carefully maintained and ideal for drinks receptions and photography.
As an exclusive use venue, it allows couples to fully shape the day around the different spaces within the house. Styling here often works best when it complements the architecture rather than competing with it, using candlelight, florals and carefully chosen table styling to enhance the existing interiors.

Kilworth House Hotel
Kilworth House Hotel combines traditional country house architecture with one of the strongest orangery spaces in the region.
The recently refurbished orangery is full of natural light and works beautifully for both ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. Because the room already feels bright and structured, styling can remain relatively restrained, allowing florals, linens and candlelight to soften the space without overcrowding it.
Outside, the grounds provide plenty of space for drinks receptions and photography, making full use of the countryside setting.
The Hall Barns
Located on the Prestwold Estate, The Hall Barns offers a completely different feel to Prestwold Hall itself.
The venue is much more relaxed and outdoor focused, with canvas covered courtyards, open spaces and firepits helping shape the atmosphere throughout the day. Sustainability sits at the core of the venue, and the styling naturally works best when it reflects that approach through softer textures, candlelight and rustic elements.
The flexibility of the space allows couples to move between indoors and outdoors throughout the celebration, which creates a very different flow compared to a more traditional venue.

The Tipis at Whatton House
The Tipis at Whatton House offer one of the most distinctive settings in the region and Sparkle Event Styling is proud to be a recommended supplier here.
The woodland ceremony area sits beneath canvas and within the trees, creating a setting that feels enclosed and atmospheric while still being outdoors. The permanent tipis themselves are full of character and particularly well suited to relaxed receptions with long tables, candlelight and natural textures.
The grounds also work beautifully for drinks receptions and garden games, allowing guests to move naturally between spaces throughout the day.

Winstanley House
Winstanley House brings country house styling into the centre of Leicester.
The venue is particularly well suited to larger weddings because of the number of spaces available throughout the building. Different rooms allow the day to evolve naturally, from ceremony through to evening celebrations, while still maintaining the atmosphere of a country house venue.
Its combination of scale, architecture and flexibility means it responds well to both classic and contemporary styling approaches.
The Nevill Arms
For couples wanting something more intimate and relaxed, The Nevill Arms offers a completely different atmosphere.
Set within a country village, it combines the feel of a traditional pub with the exclusivity of a private celebration. The village church sits directly across the road, allowing couples to walk between ceremony and reception if they choose.
Taking over the pub creates a very different type of wedding experience, centred around good food, familiar surroundings and celebrating with close friends and family. Sparkle Event Styling is also proud to be a recommended supplier here.
Choosing the Right Venue
The strongest wedding styling always begins with the venue itself. Some spaces naturally lend themselves to candlelight and soft textures, while others rely on architecture, views or atmosphere.
Across Leicestershire, there is a venue to suit almost every style of celebration, from elegant country houses through to woodland tipis and relaxed countryside settings. The key is finding a venue that already reflects the feel you want your wedding to have, then building the styling around it.
